Objective

Ensure automations are triggered at the right time based on specific user actions, improving response speed, personalization, lead nurturing accuracy, and overall CRM efficiency inside GoHighLevel.

  • Access the assistants menu and click on "Knowledge Base."

  • Form Submission Trigger – Activates automation when a contact submits a specific funnel or website form. Ensures immediate follow-up after lead capture.

  • Tag Added Trigger – Starts workflow when a tag is applied to a contact. Useful for segment-based automations and targeted campaigns.

  • Appointment Booking Trigger – Fires when a contact books an appointment through GHL calendar. Ideal for confirmation, reminders, and pre-call sequences.

  • Pipeline Stage Change Trigger – Runs automation when a contact moves to a specific pipeline stage. Helps automate sales follow-ups and deal progression.

  • Opportunity Status Change – Triggers when opportunity status is marked as won, lost, or abandoned. Useful for post-sale or re-engagement campaigns.

  • Contact Created Trigger – Starts workflow when a new contact is added to the CRM. Supports onboarding or welcome sequences.

  • Customer Replied Trigger – Activates when a contact replies to SMS or email. Helps notify sales teams instantly.

  • Order Form Submission Trigger – Fires when a payment or order is completed inside a funnel. Enables receipt emails and fulfillment processes.

  • Webhook Trigger – Starts automation when external platforms send data into GHL. Supports third-party integrations.
